Veronica B. Smith Senior Center Announces Temporary Relocation During Renovation

Dear Members of the Veronica B. Smith Senior Center Community,

June marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the Veronica B. Smith Senior Center.

Our beloved home at 20 Chestnut Hill Avenue will soon close for an extensive renovation project expected to last approximately 12 to 18 months. While it will be difficult to leave a space that holds so many cherished memories, we are looking forward to the opportunities this transition will bring and to welcoming everyone back to a beautifully renewed center in the future.

During the renovation period, the Veronica B. Smith Senior Center will temporarily relocate to:

Brighton Marine Health Center
77 Warren Street, Third Floor
Brighton, MA

We are deeply grateful to Brighton Marine for their incredible generosity in providing space for our community during this transition.

Change often brings a mix of emotions, and we recognize that leaving our longtime home—even temporarily—will not be easy. At the same time, we are excited about the possibilities ahead. Our commitment remains the same: to provide the vibrant programs, welcoming atmosphere, friendships, fun, and sense of community that make the Veronica B. Smith Senior Center such a special place.

Beginning Monday, June 22, Director Nicole Catania, Jackie McLaughlin, and the entire staff look forward to welcoming members to our temporary location and helping everyone feel at home in the new space.
