It’s not “goodbye” it’s “see you later!”

Veronica B. Smith Senior Center

A big milestone for our friends at the Veronica B. Smith Multi-Service Senior Center!

While it’s not “goodbye,” it is a temporary “see you later” as the Center begins an exciting new chapter. After many years at 20 Chestnut Hill Avenue, the Veronica B. Smith team is relocating for the next 12–18 months while their building undergoes a major renovation.

We are incredibly grateful to our friends at Brighton Marine for generously providing space for the Center’s programs and services during this transition. Strong community partnerships like these help ensure that our seniors continue to have access to the activities, resources, and connections they rely on every day.

The Veronica B. Smith Multi-Service Senior Center will officially reopen in its temporary location at 77 Warren Street (3rd Floor) beginning June 22, and all the fun, friendship, and programming will continue!

We wish the staff, volunteers, and participants a smooth move and look forward to visiting them in their new temporary home. Here’s to an exciting renovation and an even brighter future ahead!

The afterschool program provides academic support, youth development and enrichment opportunities for the kids at Faneuil and we had a great year participating with the program! We hope everyone has a happy summer! #brightonma #brightonmainstreets #unityday #community
