As Executive Director of Brighton Main Streets, I was thrilled to attend the Legacy Business Awards hosted by the Mayor’s Office of Economic Opportunity & Inclusion and celebrate two outstanding Brighton businesses recognized for this special honor: Amanda’s Flowers and Devlin’s Restaurant & Bar!
Together, these beloved local businesses represent more than 60 years of serving our community. Their longevity is a testament to their dedication, hard work, and commitment to Brighton. For generations, they have provided exceptional service, built lasting relationships, and helped shape the unique character and vitality of our neighborhood. I am incredibly grateful for all they contribute and proud to see them receive this well-deserved recognition.
A heartfelt thank you to the Mayor’s Office of Economic Opportunity & Inclusion, the Boston Main Streets Foundation, and everyone who took the time to nominate and vote for our winners. Congratulations as well to all of the Legacy Business Award recipients from across the city for their remarkable contributions to Boston’s neighborhoods.
Special thanks to Ben Tocchi from State Representative Mike Moran’s office for attending and showing support for our small business community. It was also wonderful to celebrate alongside fellow Main Streets directors from Hyde Park Main Streets and Mission Hill Main Streets.
The Bruce C. Bolling Municipal Building in Nubian Square provided the perfect backdrop for an evening dedicated to honoring the businesses that help make our neighborhoods vibrant, welcoming, and strong.
Congratulations again to Amanda’s Flowers and Devlin’s Restaurant & Bar on this well-deserved recognition. Brighton is fortunate to have you as part of our community!
