Our neighbors at the Oak Square YMCA are hosting the OAKtoberfest 5K Race & Taste on Sunday, October 18!
The YMCA of Greater Boston invites runners and walkers of all ages to take part in this family-friendly event. As part of its 5K Race Series, the YMCA hosts seven races from July through November. Whether you’re new to fitness or an experienced runner, there’s a place for you!
Best of all, you can walk, jog, or run with friends, family, and neighbors. Along the way, you’ll stay active, build confidence, and celebrate 175 years of YMCA service to the community.
The OAKtoberfest event will also feature a live band, free snacks, and a food truck. Plus, runners age 21 and older can enjoy free beer with a valid ID.
This year’s race is extra special because the Oak Square YMCA is celebrating 25 years in the Brighton community!
When: Sunday, October 18
Come out for the race, enjoy the festivities, and help celebrate this local milestone!
