Community, pancakes, and purpose—Allston-Brighton at its best!
Today’s Annual Allston-Brighton Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast, held at the Presentation School Foundation Community Center, brought neighbors together despite the freezing temperatures — and the turnout was well worth it.
This year’s breakfast was dedicated to the memory of William “Bill” Margolin, a beloved and active member of the Allston-Brighton community whose leadership and generosity touched countless civic organizations.
We were honored to see Boston City Councilor Liz Breadon, Representative Kevin G. Honan, and Senator Will Brownsberger in attendance, along with many community leaders and friends, including Kelly McGrath of Brighton Main Streets; Daniel Cuddy of Brighton Marine; Bill Mills of Boston College; board members from the Friends of the Faneuil Branch Library; and our own Brighton Allston Historical Society.
The morning was about more than just enjoying a delicious breakfast. It was a chance to reconnect with neighbors, support youth programs in our community, and take part in an incredible raffle made possible by the generosity of local organizations.
We’re sharing a few photos from this wonderful event and extend a heartfelt thank you to the Allston-Brighton Kiwanis and everyone who braved the cold to support such an important cause — and to honor Bill Margolin’s lasting legacy in our community.
