City of Boston Summer 2026 Business Impact Survey

The City of Boston is conducting a Summer 2026 Business Impact Survey to better understand how this summer’s major events have affected small businesses throughout Boston.

During June and July 2026, Boston welcomed visitors for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and Sail Boston, while also celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.

The City of Boston’s Economic Opportunity and Inclusion Cabinet would like to hear directly from local small businesses about how these events impacted your business, including changes in customers, sales, operations, and overall business activity.

If you own or operate a small business in Boston, please take a few minutes to complete the brief survey and share your experience.

As always, the City of Boston Licensing Board and the Office of Small Business are available to assist local businesses.

📞 617-635-4170

Office of Small Business
📞 617-635-0355
📧 smallbiz@boston.gov

Your feedback will help the City better understand the impact of major events on Boston’s small business community and plan for future opportunities.

Free open house for teens to hear about the work of the AB Youth Coalition.

The Allston Brighton Youth Coalition works to engage, support, and empower young people in Allston-Brighton, with a strong emphasis on healthy decision-making, substance-use prevention, leadership, and youth voice. Its work grew from the Allston Brighton Substance Abuse Task Force’s community-based prevention efforts, bringing youth together with families, schools, service providers, and neighborhood partners to address issues affecting young people.

They have slots open for their program and teens earn stipends for their efforts and participation. They are doing some amazing things!
