Allston Civic attacks graffiti, looks at busy spring and new D-14 Cap

The Allston Civic Association recently met with residents and local officials to discuss neighborhood updates, including welcoming new District D-14 Captain Beth Leary and recognizing the retirement of longtime Community Service Officer Sgt. Edward McMahon. Recent crime reports showed relatively low activity, with notable praise for ongoing community policing efforts.

Looking ahead, ACA leadership is focusing on spring priorities—particularly addressing an increase in graffiti across the neighborhood, while continuing to support positive community initiatives.
