The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual whose dedication, passion, and lifelong commitment have made a lasting impact on our community. We are proud to celebrate Rose Hanlon as this year’s recipient.
Rose has left an extraordinary legacy in Allston-Brighton through decades of service. She served as Director of the Jackson Mann Community Center, was the first President of the Allston-Brighton Chamber of Commerce, and is a former Executive Director of Brighton Main Streets. Throughout her career, she has been a tireless advocate for children, small businesses, neighborhood organizations, and the traditions that make our community so special.
Affectionately nicknamed “Rosie the Riveter” by former Boston Mayor Tom Menino for her unwavering dedication and work ethic, Rose continues to be a driving force for good in Allston-Brighton.
