Applications Open for the 2026–2027 Boston Public Market Entrepreneurship Forum

Are you a small business owner looking to grow your business and gain valuable business education, resources, and opportunities?

The Boston Public Market Entrepreneurship Forum, powered by Citizens, is now accepting applications for its 2026–2027 program.

The Entrepreneurship Forum is a six-session business education series designed to help small business owners strengthen their businesses and prepare for future growth. Sessions feature industry leaders and cover topics such as strategic planning, branding, marketing, operations, networking, and more.

Who Is Eligible?

Businesses must:

  • Be based in New England and able to provide goods or services to the Boston area.
  • Have no more than one retail location.
  • Attend all Forum sessions to be eligible to compete for grant stipends and free retail space at the Boston Public Market.

Award Opportunity

Eligible participants will have the opportunity to compete for the Cheryl Cronin Entrepreneurship Forum Award, which provides one to three small businesses with the opportunity to receive:

  • Free retail space at the Boston Public Market for up to one year
  • Grant stipends to help with start-up costs

The program is designed to help increase education, opportunity, and access for minority and women-owned small businesses.

2026–2027 Timeline

September 17, 2026: Applications open
October 15, 2026: Application deadline
November 2026–April 2027: Monthly seminar series
May 2027: Award competition for eligible Forum participants
June 2027: Cheryl Cronin Entrepreneurship Forum Award recipients selected
