Volunteer - Brighton Main Streets

Brighton Main Streets is made up of volunteers who help to make Brighton a great place to live, work, shop, and learn. Whether you’re a longtime friend, new to Brighton, or just new to Main Streets, volunteering is a great way to get to know your neighbors and establish community.

Volunteers who want to be involved in planning can join specific event committees. We are always seeking design, marketing/social media, project management, and business-related skills. We also have opportunities for single-day event support, such as setting up tents and staffing registration tables.

Volunteer opportunities for 2023 include:

Preparing for the National Main Streets Conference (coming to Boston in March!)
Supporting a new monthly “shop small” challenge
Helping with spring plantings and clean-up projects
Planning our annual signature event…and much more!

The Brighton Sounds summer series introduced me to Brighton Main Streets

and got me excited to volunteer in my community. From these summer concerts to community clean-ups, Brighton Main Streets has helped me plant roots in Brighton and connect with my neighbors and local businesses.
