New Free Summer Opportunity for Middle School Students: STEM on Strip

July 22 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

This July, Boston students entering grades 5–8 have an exciting opportunity to participate in STEM on Strip, a brand-new week-long summer enrichment program that combines hands-on STEM learning with the Olympic sport of fencing.

Organized by DoGood, hosted by the Boston Fencing Club, and featuring a STEM curriculum developed by Cords for a Cause, this pilot program is designed to expand access to science, technology, engineering, math, and athletics for students who may not otherwise have these opportunities due to socioeconomic barriers.

Throughout the week, participants will explore engaging STEM activities while learning the fundamentals of fencing, helping them build problem-solving skills, confidence, teamwork, and resilience in a fun and supportive environment.

Full Scholarships Available!

A dozen or more full-scholarship spots will be available. Families needing financial assistance are strongly encouraged to express their interest. While scholarship availability is based on program capacity, it is expected that most students requesting financial assistance will receive a full scholarship.
