Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or ready to build on your basic skills, these fun, results-oriented classes will help you play with confidence.

Beginner Acoustic Guitar

Learn the fundamentals of acoustic guitar, including:

• Basic chords
• Strumming techniques
• Rhythm and pulse
• Chord patterns
• Playing songs

This hands-on class emphasizes practical skills so you can start making music and enjoying your guitar right away.

Acoustic Guitar 2

Designed as a continuation of the Beginner Acoustic Guitar class, Guitar 2 focuses on expanding your skills and musicality.

Participants should be comfortable playing the open chords E, A, G, C, and D, and have some experience strumming or playing simple songs.

Topics include:

• Bar chords and alternative chord positions
• Improved rhythm, strumming, and picking techniques
• Learning songs using online resources such as Google, Ultimate Guitar, and YouTube

No music theory background is required.
