The Boston Fire Department is now accepting applications for its Fire Cadet Program, a hands-on opportunity for young Boston residents interested in exploring a career in the fire service. Participants gain valuable skills, real-world experience, and insight into what it takes to become a Boston firefighter.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Ages 18–25
• Boston resident for the past 3 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a clean record
Applications are due March 4, 2026.
