City of Boston Inspectional Services Department Announces 2026 Youth Mentorship Program
The Boston Inspectional Services Department (ISD) is proud to announce the return of its Youth Mentorship Program for 2026. This opportunity is designed for motivated young adults interested in exploring the intersection of public safety, urban development, and civic leadership.
Participants ages 18–25 will engage in a comprehensive eight-week program beginning in April 2026, featuring:
• Rotational Learning: Explore the inner workings of ISD’s diverse divisions
• Field Exploration: Gain valuable on-site experience alongside industry experts
• Career Development: Learn about stable, high-impact career paths in construction and the public sector
• Project Site Visits: Experience exclusive tours of active development projects and see the evolution of Boston’s skyline firsthand
